Beat the Interview
Do you find that you attend many interviews and not get the job? or maybe you have your very first interview and you are not sure where to start?
So, why do companies interview candidates:
Companies interview candidates to determine if the candidate's skills, experience, and personality closely match what the job requirements are.
The hiring manager would then ask a set of questions to the applicants to determine who within the group most likely meets those requirements.
Then, why or how could you fail the interview:
The most common reason you could fail an interview is when the hiring manager believes that you do not match the job requirements. This is when you apply for a job where your greatest strength is not the most important strength the organization is looking for. As an example, you could be very good at sales but slightly poor at customer service.
Another reason why you could fail the interview is when another candidate portrays that they are better suited for the job than you. This does not mean that they can do the job better than you, it only means that they were able to better communicate why they are the best compared to how you did.
How can you better perform at an interview?
